Sri Lanka rupee buck ‘support price’ borders up; bond returns up

ECONOMYNEXT– Sri Lanka rupee shut constant at 367 versus United States buck at the close of Friday trading without adjustment from the previous day of trading, Industrial financial institution’s information revealed.

The reserve bank’s interbank area went to 359.75 on Friday, from Thursday’s 359.85.

In the additional market, a couple of maturations were energetic, suppliers claimed.

The bonds growing on June 1, 2025 was shut at 20.40/ 75 percent, while return in three-month T-bill shut at 20.40/ 80 percent on Friday up from 20.30/ 50 at Thursday close.

The 1 year T-bill return shut at 21.85/ 22.15 percent, up from 21.80/ 22.00 percent on Thursday. (Colombo/June 17/2022)
