Payments extending pvt. sector retirement age handed in Parliament

Minimal Retirement Age of Employees Invoice has been handed in parliament with amendments.


The Invoice was offered by Minister of Labour – Nimal Siripala de Silva and was handed with amendments on the third studying.

In the meantime, the Termination of Employment of Workmen (Particular Provisions) (Modification) Invoice was additionally handed with no amendments.

Each Payments are geared toward extending the retirement age of personal sector workers to 60 years.
