Imported Nano-Nitrogen fertilizer just isn’t natural

The Federation of College Academics’ Affiliation (FUTA) says that the Nano-Nitrogen fertilizer of IFFCO imported to Sri Lanka yesterday (20), just isn’t an natural fertilizer.


“The Nano-Nitrogen fertilizer is beneficial to use as a foliar spray and mentioned to include 4% Nitrogen. That is relatively a brand new product, which has very lately (2021 March) obtained approval for large-scale manufacturing from the Ministry of Agriculture of India,” mentioned FUTA in an announcement.


“Anyhow, nano-fertilizers aren’t accepted in natural agriculture in Sri Lanka as indicated in the usual of necessities for natural agriculture (SLS 1324:2018),” it provides.
