Sri Lanka reopens museums and archeological websites

The Central Cultural Fund (CCF) says that each one museums and archeological websites underneath its purview can be open for guests with impact from immediately (14).

Accordingly, the Director Normal of the CFF, Prof. Gamini Ranasinghe, said that each one museums and tasks underneath the purview of the Central Cultural Fund situated in Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Kataragama, Galle, Kandy and Anuradhapura will reopen underneath the well being tips offered by the Ministry of Well being.

Sri Lanka’s solely Nationwide Maritime Archaeology Museum on the Galle Fort, the primary open-air museum on the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs, the Portray Conservation & Analysis Heart and Portray Museum in Dambulla, and the museums situated at Jetavana, Abhayagiri Sigiriya, Kandy, Polonnaruwa, Kataragama, Yapahuwa, Ratnapura, Monragala, Namal Uyana, Trincomalee, Dambadeniya, Ridi Viharaya, Jaffna and Ramba Viharaya can be reopened.
