Request made to curb on-line gaming



A request has been made to the Telecommunications Regulatory Fee of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) calling to safeguard kids from the menace of on-line gaming.

In a letter, a nationwide organisation known as ‘Lakmawa Diyaniyo’ has known as on the TRCSL to instantly intervene.

Nationwide Organiser of the collective, Priyanga Kothelawala says that the letter was handed over right this moment (14).

We urge authorities to take measures in opposition to this menace as it’s our future era that’s being wasted away thus, she added.

Not too long ago, a 16-year previous from Raigama, Bandaragama, who had been hooked on on-line gaming, had dedicated suicide.
