Trainer-principal commerce union motion ends as PM resolves wage concern

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, throughout a gathering with the representatives of teacher-principal commerce unions, has agreed to extend the salaries in three instalments in two price range levels as a decision to remove their wage anomalies.

The assembly was held on the Temple Bushes this afternoon (October 12), the Prime Minister’s Workplace stated in an announcement.

Accordingly, first instalment of increment can be allowed within the 2022 price range and remaining two instalments can be integrated within the 2023 price range ranging from January that yr.
